How does this work?

After signing up, you can open an enquiry and provide all the details of the product you need. Sellers and Experts will then be able to view your requirements and bid on it. This is similar to an auction, but there is no mandatory end date and you choose the winning bid yourself as cheapest may be delivering in two weeks and it may not suit you. You have right to choose any one with any price quoted depending upon your time and circumstances. Once you have chosen an Expert or good reliable seller then they will be notified with your email address and they can communicate to begin work on your delivery or job as the requirement may be.Both of you have to sort out payment method mutually suitable for both of you.

How much does this cost?

There is no signup fee and no monthly fee, but you are required to pay quoteafire.co.uk a commission on each enquiry you successfully fill. The commission is 1% of your purchase (minimum £2.00).

How do I communicate with Experts and sellers?

You can post messages on the message boards(PMB). If you post a private message, only the user it's addressed to will be able to see it, that user will also be notified by e-mail that you posted a message for them on personal message board.

What is a budget range?

You can optionally specify how much money you are able to spend on this item or job. It does not really matter much but it gives sellers an idea as what your spending limits are and they then try to quote under your budget.

Why do I have to choose the amount of days until my enquiry needs to be resolved?

There needs to be an end to every enquiry, to leave room for new ones. But you can extend your enquiry any time you want.You can post urgent enquiry if in hurry and all enquiries to be ended in three days time are considered urgent autoomatically and service is free at the moment.

Can I change the information I provided about my enquiry?

No, but you can use the message board to post new info. If the information you provided is completely wrong, you can close your enquiry without choosing an Expert or seller and without any penalty. You can then go ahead and open a new enquiry.

You can do all this by logging in to the account management area. Click on the "Account Login" button or go here.

Can I re-open a closed Enquiry?

No, you will have to open a new enquiry .

What does it mean if my enquiry is frozen?

This means the ending date you chose for the project has past. No Experts or sellers can place any new bids, you must either pick an Expert/seller or extend the enquiry.

What does hide a bid means ?

If you choose hide a bid then no other seller will be able to see bids placed and you are likely to get best quote.

 

How does private enquiry work?

In private enquiry you can write few names of sellers who have best rating or you think are reliable suppliers due to their past service.Your enquiry is sent to those sellers only and a common person or seller may not be able to read your demand or enquiry and it remains private and secret.
