Enquiry Guidelines

Both parties involved in an enquiry (the buyer and the seller) are asked to follow these guidelines to assure the successful completion of a project, without any problems. If you don't, you do so at your own risk, and will have a harder time convincing us to decide in your favor during any dispute with the other party.

Buyers

Detailed Project Description
Your enquiry description should be as detailed as possible. It's better to have too much information than too little. Some people choose to summarize the enquiry in the description field, and attach a file with more detailed info (for interested bidders). Which is a good idea. Please note that there are so many products in this industry which have same name so you must mention manufacturer's name and do not forget that same manufacturer may be selling one name with so many models so always mention model if in doubt.

Additional Features
If you need additional features you would like in your item, which you did not mention in the enquiry description, please tell the seller BEFORE they make delivery. It may change price for example you switched over from manual to remote control. Please do not assume anything and you will be supplied what you asked in your enquiry details and price quoted was for same make ,model and features you asked for.

Request Link of product
Before you go ahead with purchase you may ask seller to send you link or attach photo of item you require, this link may be on manufacture's website or seller's own website and this activity can easily be done after seller has been chosen and email addresses have been exchanged by system. Once the seller sends you the item it could be too late to cancel the delivery, and you will be expected to pay for delivery and collection charges in case you want to exchange this item.

Payment Method
Before the delivery, you should discuss with the seller how you will send payment and this method should be acceptable to both parties. Quoteafire suggests putting money in an escrow account specially when dealing with new seller without any reviews or past history of supply through QUOTEAFIRE website. Please note we take no responsibility of any loss or fraud in result of your purchase through this website and our terms are clear on this subject.

Sellers

Know The Project
You should know how will you supply this item and you should be realistic in terms of delivery time you quote as buyer might have selected you because of time you quoted so know your stocks before you place your bid. If you need more details, post on the message board for that enquiry, request more information from the buyer. If you don't, at least make sure you are clear about the enquiry and you are selling correct item ,correct manufacturer and from same manufacturer if this item is not available with may additional features or models and you must clarify all these details before you bid on it.You are likely to quote correct price.

Updates
You might consider updating the buyer on your progress throughout if delivery is awaited from manufacturer, especially if it's a long time involved. This will assure that there is no confusion on both sides.

Inform before delivering
You should coordinate with buyer and send an item as per convenience of buyer so he or she is in to take delivery. An item left at the merci of carrier for few days results in breakage and it can only be avoided provided delivery day is fixed by both parties.

Payment Method
Before Delivery, you should discuss with the buyer how payment will be made and rest assured that you are paid in advance before you send an item. Quoteafire suggests that you ask the seller to send money through paypal or put money in an escrow account with quoteafire.

And don't rate the other party before the enquiry is completed, you might change your mind, and the rating cannot be changed.
